Music, Food and Fun Festival 2007
Our 6th annual festival is a weekend long celebration of the 50th anniversary of
our church building. We will start the festivities with Friday Family Movie Night
enjoying hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, and a movie. Join us Saturday for a catered
dinner followed by Joyce Pricco's Opera in the Nave. The weekend culminates on
Sunday with a Festival Eucharist Mass followed by a new cornerstone ceremony. A Festival
Reception and Festival Concert will follow.
The weekend is also a fundraiser for the Bay Area Crisis Nursery and St. Michael's.
Festival Schedule:
- Friday, September 28th Family Movie Night ~ 5 pm
- Hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, and a movie
- Saturday, September 29th
Catered Buffet Dinner
- 5 pm ~ Appetizers and wine on the lawn
6 pm ~ Dinner in the Parish Hall
- Joyce Pricco's Opera in the Nave ~ 7:30 pm
- Opera arias, duets, and choruses
- Sunday, September 30th
Festival Eucharist Mass ~ 10 am
- Followed by a new cornerstone ceremony
- Festival Reception ~ 2 pm
- Appetizers and wine on the lawn
- Festival Concert ~ 3 pm
- A free will offering. St. Michael and All Angel's Traditional Choir,
Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church of Ashland VA choir, and a Brass Choir in a joint
performance.
